Food Composition Spreadsheet The USDA offers the basics of this spreadsheet on their web site under "What's in Foods?" but they do not include a classification system which I added.

Me:  Those food items that I regularly eat

Rank:   My classification of "good for you" to "not so good for you" with low numbers being good.

Keyword:  My classification system, change it as you wish!

Vendor:  The manufacturer, if any, for the food item

The rest of the spreadsheet is supplied by the USDA.  To sort by any field, place the cursor in cell A4, press CTL, and then Data-Sort as usual.

Daily Food Intake Worksheet Download and customize this spreadsheet so that you can count the food energy for the items you consume daily.  This is your daily personal food inventory.

Use the Nutrition Facts section on each product you purchase to add those items you eat on a regular basis to your custom spreadsheet.  For items you do not purchase in a grocery store, use the Food Composition Spreadsheet to ascertain their food values.

Especially note serving sizes.  For your information, 4 ounces is approximately 125 grams.

Each day list the food quantities you consume in column C.  The spreadsheet will calculate food energy values for each line item and total your day's food energy in cells, J5 - N5.  These are the values you will transfer to the Create Your Own Diet Worksheet the next morning after you weigh in.

To reset your Food Intake worksheet for the next day, simply delete the values in column C.

Daily Food Requirements Everyone is unique.  Food requirements for children differ than those for adults;  for men differ than those for women.  Use this reference to post your goals in the top portion of the previous spreadsheet.

Create Your Own Diet Worksheet Download and customize the diet worksheet.  Customize the spreadsheet to reflect your own diet plan:
