Purpose

The Events Committee focuses on providing opportunities
for members, as a group, to support our UNC Women’s Basketball Team with fun
activities which will be publicized by the Communications Committee. The
Events Committee will host the following events as well as those requested
by the Steering Committee.

Called meetings
|

The Events Committee will provide services as needed for all Called
Meetings of the Membership. Our first meeting was October 6, 2009. The

Pre-Game Meals/Car Pools before Home Games
|
|
The Events Committee assembles at Time Out
Restaurant 90 minutes before each home game for pre-game meals and carpools
to the Dean Smith Center or Carmichael Auditorium. |

Viewing Parties during televised Away Games |
|
The Events Committee assembles at Time Out
Restaurant 30 minutes before tip-off to secure the optimal viewing areas for
our members. |

Coach Hatchell’s Radio Show |

possible. |

Work with Sarah Humphries at UNCAA-Marketing so
that Tar Heel Team Tempo members have the opportunity to secure tickets and
ride a bus to and from these 2010 games:

Beat Dook Party |
|

Special pre-game meal/party on Sunday, February
28, at 1 PM. Prizes will be given for most inventive costumes.
