New Traditions
The coaching staff requests
new game routines to energize both the team and the fans at home games.
Read previous issues of the BLAST
here
to learn more. Fans are doing well to stand until the first basket is
made, but more NOISE and ENERGY is needed. Clap, chant, cheer, but MAKE
SOME NOISE from the tip to the first basket. Pass the word to the rest
of your section. Also, REPEAT the efforts at the start of the second
half. |

TEMPO TALK |

From the Chairman
Greetings to my fellow Tar Heel Team Tempo friends,
The
team is having a difficult year in comparison to recent seasons and I
understand that is disappointing. We need to remember that our
disappointment is nothing compared to how the team feels. All of them,
from the coaching staff to the team managers are doing everything they
can to improve. We need show our appreciation of their efforts by giving
them a true home court advantage when they play in Carmichael. On
Sunday, it was clear that this was not the case. The game was a
sell-out, yet there were multitudes of empty seats throughout the lower
bowl of the arena. I looked around the upper bowl and saw more fans of
the visiting team than fans of UNC.
The
fans of the visitors were exuberant in their support of their team and
they were louder than us. Carmichael is capable of being the 6th man on
the court and the difference in a tight, hard-fought contest, but it is
up to us to MAKE IT HAPPEN. We have another chance next Sunday when our
neighbors from eight miles down the road come to visit. I challenge
everyone to be in your seats early, BE LOUD and STAY LOUD throughout the
game to support our team.
Go
Heels!

Triplett, President
