Tournament Selection Show. Watch to see if the Tar Heels make it to the
Big Dance. The show will be live on ESPN from 8-9pm to announce the

Technically on the bubble, the Tar Heels are still predicted to make it
into the NCAA tournament according to Charlie Cream's Bracketology at
ESPN. View his latest predictions

Tech Tip: Move your mouse cursor over each team (do not click,
just hover) on the bracketology page and a description of why they are
in that spot should pop up.
Also,
just above the bracket, is a link to Charlie's latest column which
describes some of the decision making process. In his March 1 column he
made the case for UNC making the tournament. Read about it
here.
The March 8 update is

of this writing the ESPN schedule shows 8pm for the selection show,

In other games: Former
Tar Heel Sylvia Crawley and her BC team did well knocking off #2
Florida State before falling short against NC State in the
semifinals. NC State, after winning three games in three days,
played well enough to provide and interesting final game but that
“other blue” team up the road comes out with their 6th
ACC Tournament Title. Final score: NC State 60 – Duke 70. Check out
ESPN's Mechelle Voepel thoughts on “Underdogs come close in ACC, Big
Ten, SEC”
